Gin with Scotch stirred into it and nothing else. Two spirits that do not obviously want to be in the same glass, and the ratio is where the argument is.

Rescaled to your 1 oz30 ml pour. Written around 2 oz60 ml.

Rescaled to your 1 ½ oz45 ml pour. Written around 2 oz60 ml.

Already built on your 2 oz60 ml pour.

Rescaled to your 2 ½ oz75 ml pour. Written around 2 oz60 ml.

Rescaled to your 3 oz90 ml pour. Written around 2 oz60 ml.

Tools

• Jigger
• Mixing glass
• Bar spoon
• Hawthorne strainer
• Y-peeler

Method

1. Add both to a mixing glass with ice.
2. Stir until cold and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Twist a strip of lemon over the top and drop it in. Move the ratio towards the Scotch if you want the smoke in front.
