Preparations
Place 2 cups of 100 percent pomegranate juice in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium-low heat. Cook until it has reduced by half. Add 2 cups sugar and stir until it has dissolved. Remove the pan from heat and let the grenadine cool completely before using or storing in the refrigerator.
Method
- Chill the cocktail glass in the refrigerator.
- Add everything to a shaker, fill it two-thirds with ice, and shake hard until cold.
- Strain into the chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the cherry.
