From Peaks to Palms

From Peaks to Palms pairs tropical pineapple, lime, and grapefruit with the herbal character of Yellow Chartreuse and Appalachian Amaro Oscura. Overproof rye provides warmth and spice, while an aromatic mint leaf finishes the drink.

Method

  1. Add everything to a mixing glass with cracked ice. The original uses Fee Brothers bitters, Liber & Co. pineapple gum syrup, Eda Rhyne Amaro Oscura and Old Forester rye.
  2. Stir for 20 to 30 seconds.
  3. Strain over one large clear ice cube.
  4. Clap a fresh mint leaf lightly between your hands to wake it up, and lay it on top.
