Bacardi Cocktail
A daiquiri with grenadine. A court once ruled it had to be made with Bacardi.

Preparations
Place 2 cups of 100 percent pomegranate juice in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium-low heat. Cook until it has reduced by half. Add 2 cups sugar and stir until it has dissolved. Remove the pan from heat and let the grenadine cool completely before using or storing in the refrigerator.
Method
- Chill the glass.
- Shake hard with ice until thoroughly chilled.
- Strain into the glass.
